Scheduled to be released in September, the Sony DVP-CX985V is gunning for the title of top DVD disc changer.  It has a 400-Disc Explorer library management system, and includes multi-channel SACD playback, Precision Cinema Progressive, and a 12 bit/108 MHz Video D/A Converter.  It will also include CD-R/RW and MP3 playback capabilities. The DVP-CX985V is expected to cost around $400.

Sony has also announced the DVP-NC685V, a five-disc changer with multichannel Super Audio CD (SACD) playback and Precision Cinema Progressive output, due in August, priced at around $250.

The DVP-NC665P is another five-disc changer, due in June for around $180.  It includes Precision Cinema Progressive output and a 12 bit/108 MHz Video D/A Converter.  It will include DVD-RW/-R, DVD+RW/+R, CD-R/RW and MP3 playback. 

At around $150, the single disc DVP-NS725P will include Precision Cinema Progressive output and a 12 bit/108 MHz Video D/A Converter. Like the DVP-NC665P, it also does DVD-RW/-R, DVD+RW/+R, CD-R/RW and MP3 playback
