DVD Burning Glossary blocking A
video artifact describing the situation when macroblocks become visible, due to
the MPEG decoder not receiving enough detail information to describe the detail
within the macroblock. This is usually caused by a bitrate that is
inadequate for the detail or motion in the video, but it could be due to a small
glitch or interruption of the data stream. |
